How to update Zotero settings for Open Athens

The EUI Library has changed the authentication method for accessing eResources, from proxy to OpenAthens. 

If you are using Zotero, you must update your settings.

Follow these instructions:

In Chrome

 

  • Please locate the Zotero Icon

  • Right-click on it and select Options

  • In the Proxies section, delete the proxy configured by clicking on the "minus" sign

In Firefox

  • Please locate the Zotero active icon

  • Right-click on it and select Preferences

  • In the Proxies section, delete the proxy configured by clicking on the "minus" sign

If you continue to experience issues, you may need to update the Zotero extension in your browser.
