To make your thesis available in Open Access (OA):
EUI PhD graduates from 1 September 2014 onwards: fill out the Thesis Authorisation Form, select option A (immediate OA publication), and send it to your departmental assistant;
All EUI PhD theses are deposited in Cadmus in OA, unless an embargo applies. In that case, the thesis is published online only after a four-year embargo period starting from the defence date. Once the embargo expires, the thesis becomes publicly available online.
You may choose to make your thesis OA at any time, and the copyright of the thesis remains with you.
